and we're off

Lydia and I leave for the airport tomorrow morning at 5 am ish.  Everything is ready and our bags are by the door.  The itinerary looks good; no super long layovers or anything like that.  We will be flying through Miami and Madrid before getting to Pamplona.  We taking a bus from there to get to where we want to start hiking in Saint Jean Pier de Port.  From there we are going to start walking towards Santiago.  We don't have enough time to walk the entire Camino de Santiago, so the plan is to take our time and stop in Leon.

Almost time.

It’s getting close to time to leave.  Lydia and I leave for Spain in just a week.  Just about everything taken care of, we’ve got all our transportation figured out and we’re all packed, except for a few minor things.  All we really have to do now is wait.

  However, we do have a few fun things planed between now and then.  We are taking a trip to mount Rushmore for mother’s day.  It should be a lot of fun; I’ve never been before.

Hey, I just want to take a moment to introduce this blog.  I will be using this page to record my travels, adventures, and share pictures.  To give you an idea of what will be coming, starting in may I am going to hike the camino de santiago across northern Spain, I will then go spend a month in the french alps.  When we get closer to the first adventure I will post some updates about planing.
